3. CHIPS HAULED OR LEFT Most folks want the chips gone — we haul them. If you want them as mulch, say so and we’ll leave them piled.

Some chips, yes — that’s the nature of grinding. We bag/haul them or rake them flat into the hole as fill, your choice.
Yes — surface roots running across the lawn are usually a quick add-on if you point them out.
